Children's book salon
Meetings with books and book people
April 2 is celebrated around the world as International Children's Book Day. On this day, Hans Christian Andersen, one of the world's most famous storytellers, was born. Around this date, the Children's Book Salon is taking place - a big celebration of children's books.
Why Salon? In the 19th century, literary salons brought together representatives of the intelligentsia and “high society.” They discussed literary and theatrical news, read poetry, played music, sang, joked, and slandered. The salon was, first of all, a space for communication, where people united by an interest in certain types of creativity gathered. In our Salon, children and parents, translators and writers, artists and publishers gather around their favorite children's books in order to meet, communicate, make friends, learn about new products, discuss what they have already read, “see people and show themselves off.”
What happens during the Children's Book Salon?
-
meetings between book authors and readers,
-
master classes from children’s book illustrators,
-
lectures for parents,
-
master classes for children around children’s books,

And lots of other things))
In a word, a lot of interesting and useful things for spending time together with the whole family during the holidays.
